Nagarjuna is popular Telugu cinema actor. He is the son of veteron actor,
Dadasaheb falke awardee Akkeneni Nageswararao. Nagarjuna studied
at Hyderabad public school , Begumpet and then graduated with an Engineering
Degree from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA.
Nagarjuna acted as a child artist in sudigundalu film .His first leading role
was in Vikram which hit screens in 1986.He starred other films including
Geethalanjali a love story directed by Maniratnam which was dubbed in to
Tamil, followed by an action film Shiva directed by Ram Gopal Varma were
highly succesful and established him as one of the top tollywood heros.
